Privacy
Cuebit keeps this simple: it stores the email you sign up with and the Cues you create, uses them only to send the Cues you asked for, and never sells your data.
What we collect
Your email address, the Cues you create, and the basic delivery records needed to send and not double-send your Cues.
If you set a password, Cuebit stores a one-way hash of it and never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, Cuebit receives your Google-verified email address and nothing else.
So you can see where you are signed in, each session records the browser it came from and a one-way hash of the network address. The address itself is never stored.
Why we collect it
Only to run the service: to match events against your Cues, to cue you when something matches and to let you sign in.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Cuebit sends you the Cues you set and the occasional message needed to run your account, and nothing else.
The Cue Catcher extension
The Cue Catcher browser extension reads the page you are viewing only when you click it, and hands that page to your own Cuebit account to draft a Cue. It holds no login of its own and talks to no other site. The page text is used only to draft that Cue and is not stored or used for anything else.
Your control
Unsubscribe from any email in one click, or sign in to pause, edit or delete your Cues and your account at any time.
